Good Afternoon. I now post the recipe. If after you bake this product & you do not like the way it came out, send me a post & I will tell you of a better mixing method.
COMES NOW:
DIXIE DECADADENCE DOUBLE DELIGHT
CAKE:
2 cups all-purpose flour
14 TBSP cocoa, divided
1 1/2 cups extra fine granulated sugar
4 tsp of baking powder.
1/4 tsp. of salt
2 TBSP butter or margarine, softened.
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
TOPPING
2/3 cups extra fine granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 dark brown sugar
2 cups cold espresso or very strong coffee
Have coffee ready.
Combine and stir together in a large bowl the flour, 6 tablespoons of the cocoa, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter, milk, and vanilla. Beat until blended and smooth. Spread in a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans over top.
Combine sugars listed for topping and remaining 8 tablespoons of cocoa; mix well. Sprinkle evenly over top of batter.
Slowly and carefully pour the 2 cups coffee over all. Do not mix or shake.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven on middle rack for 25-28 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick inserted in center. Let cool in pan.
Serve with ice cream, frozen yogurt or whippeed cream.
Serves 16 to 20 people, cut into squares. GOOD LUCK & HAVE AN NICE DAY MY FRIEND.
