Recipe: Doreen's Delicious Cookies

Doreen's Delicious Cookies
"These are very light and crunchy cookies. The addition of Rice Krispies is brilliant!"

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 sticks of butter
1 cup oil
1 egg
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup rice krispies
1 cup quick oats
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
up to 2 cups chopped nuts

In your stand mixer, cream butter and sugar.

Add oil, egg, cream of tartar, vanilla. Mix well.

Add flour, cereal, oats, salt and soda. Add nuts. Mix until evenly distributed.

Drop by teaspoons on a cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork.

Bake at 350 F 12-14 minutes. Freezes well.
