As a former employee of Pizza Hut, I can tell you how the bread sticks are made.
The dough is the same as for the pizza crust, it's just proofed in a 9x13-inch pan. Before going into the oven, cheese is sprinkled over the dough and baked. When it comes out of the oven a blend of parmesean and parsley is sprinkled on. Kraft has that parmesan plus that tastes great. Hope this helps.
