Recipe: English Muffin-Crab Dip (freeze ahead)

ENGLISH MUFFIN-CRAB DIP

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1 (5-ounce) jar Old English cheese spread
1 1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained
6 English muffins, split

Cream together all ingredients except English muffins. Spread creamed mixture on 12 halves of English muffins. (May place on cookie sheet and freeze, then place muffins back in bag wrapper. Store in freezer until ready to use.)

WHEN READY TO SERVE:
Cut each muffin in 6 wedges. Place on cookie sheet.

Broil approximately 5 minutes or until bubbly.

Makes 36 appetizers
