Recipe(tried): Fix for fruit floating to top of jar (when making jam)

I also had problems with fruit floating to the top of the jelly jar, especially with strawberry and peach jam. I solved the problem by gently pulsing the fruit in my food processor for a very short time. The result was very nice thick jam--still chunky, but not floating to the top. Hope this helps.
