Frosty Fruit Loaf
1 (30 oz.) can fruit cocktail
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. Best Foods mayonnaise
1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
sweetened strawberries,
thawed and crushed
Drain fruit cocktail, reserving 1/2 cup of syrup.
In saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over syrup; stir over low heat until dissolved. Beat in mayonnaise.
Stir in strawberries and corn syrup; chill until mixture mounds slightly when dropped.
Fold in fruit cocktail. Spoon into 9-inch loaf pan. Cover; freeze until firm.
FROZEN YOGURT FRUIT SALAD
1 large can fruit cocktail
1 envelope gelatin
1 box frozen strawberries
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 carton yogurt
Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup fruit juice over low heat,
stirring. Add mayonnaise and strawberries. Chill until thick and mix in yogurt and fruit cocktail and freeze.
May be put in individual molds or sliced to serve.
Serves 8 to 10.
