Recipe(tried): Fruit Leather
Misc. Sherry, I make fruit leather all the time. Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach or whatever. Puree the fruit in a blender, add sugar or honey to taste and spread on racks that have been covered in plastic wrap. Dehydrate until no longer sticky, peel from wrap and roll and store in a jar. We like strawberry and rhubarb but I cook the rhubarb in the microwave first and sweeten before add to the strawberries. We also like fruit yogurt dehydrated ... just spread on plastic wrap like fruit and dry ... tastes like taffy. I also do banana chips, just slice thin and place on racks and dry. Apples are also nice but I sprinkle with cinnamon first so they don't turn so brown (maybe they do but you can't notice). Enjoy, we do.
