Recipe: Girlie drinks...now we're talkin'
BeveragesHow about Bellinis? The white peach puree may be a challenge to find, but you could always just use regular peaches and some prosecco or sparkling wine. Raspberries would be a good garnish.
Or maybe kir royales. They're pretty and pink and you can use an inexpensive champagne.
Strawberry daiquiris might be the ticket. I have a good Wimbledon Daiquiri recipe posted here somewhere in the way back machine that includes lemonade and orange juice that helps cut the rum taste.
If you have true martini lovers, why not try a lychee nut or pomegranate recipe. Never saw a girl turn one down in my crowd. The Barefoot Contessa has an excellent recipe for a Lemon Drop Martini.
Oh, I do love a good gal pal party that includes the boys who gallantly drive everyone home safely. Have fun and tell us what you decide to serve for your end of the season splash.
