Recipe: Glazed Walnuts

Misc.
1 large pkg of walnut halves
1 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
5 Tablespoons Water

Place walnuts on cookie tray in over at 350F degrees for 8 minutes. Meanwhile combine sugar, cinnamon, salt & the water in a large saucepan. Boil to soft ball stage. Remove nuts from oven. Working QUICKLY, remove the saucepan from the heat. Add vanilla & the nuts. Stir to coat evenly & quickly turn out onto a sheet of tin foil. Try to seperate the nuts as quickly as you can without burning yourself. Keep in jar with tight lid after they have cooled.
