Recipe: Got -It-Made Pasta Salad (using vermicelli and bottled Italian dressing)

GOT -IT-MADE PASTA SALAD

1 Vidalia onion, chopped
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
1 (12 ounce) package vermicelli, cooked, drained
2 medium tomatoes, cut small
1 (8 ounce) bottle Italian dressing

In large skillet, saute onion in butter.
Add pasta, tomatoes, and dressing. Toss well with tongs.
Good warm or chilled.

Editor's Extra:
Good to saute fresh sliced mushrooms with the onion. Whole pitted black olives add a new dimension, too. And for extra color and flavor, toss in some chopped parsley.
