Recipe(tried): Homemade Butter

Hi Judy,

When I taught first grade, this was one of the first fun things we would do and tie it in with Science and holiday....we would pour heavy cream with a little salt into baby jars and shake, shake, shake til it became butter.

Using the blender would be faster of course, just pour in a pint of heavy cream with a little salt and whip it up, it won't take long! Then put your butter in a little carafe to mold up in the fridge.
