We eat this with black eyed peas. It is fantastic!!
HOT TOMATO RELISH
1 gallon green tomatoes, chopped into 1/2 inch chunks
1 quart chopped onions, 1/2 inch chunks
1 cup chopped hot peppers, (chop in rings)
1 pint white vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup salt
Heat vinegar, sugar and salt until dissolved. Pour over chopped veg and bring to a boil, then turn off.
Cool, put into jars and store in refridgerator.
