Recipe(tried): Houston's Five Nut Brownies - Some pointers, but no firm recipe
Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars Well, I don't know the entire recipe, but here's some of what I *do* know:
What gives the brownies their "kick": there's cups of espresso in them, I think 1-2 cups. However, since it's a restaurant recipe, it probably makes large quantities, I'd guess enough to last an entire day or more.
The caramel topping is just plain caramel, as far as I can tell.
The sauce is custard-like (contains egg yolks), cooked with vanilla beans and sparkling white wine (usually champagne or a california brut), then chilled.
Hope this helps!
