Recipe: How to remove a bread machine dough blade stuck in bread

Hello,

I think all of us with bread machines have had to deal with a stuck blade! It won't be pretty, but you'll need to find the bottom of the blade and pull it out of the loaf. If you try using anything sharp or cutting the bread you might scratch the blade. To help prevent it from happening you can spray the blade with nonstick cooking spray before putting the ingredients in the pan. Or, you can take the dough out of the pan when the last kneading cycle is done (before it rises), remove the blade from the pan, spray the post with nonstick cooking spray and put the dough back in the pan to rise without the blade (you'll have to work pretty quick because the cycle time is still ticking away).
