Recipe: Jalapeno Cheese Dips (3)

JALAPENO CHEESE DIP

Diced "Velveeta" cheese spread, 1 lb.
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can "Rotel" (tomatoes and jalapenos) or fresh jalapenos

Combine: Microwave for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Eat with corn chips and cold water!
JALAPENO CHEESE DIP

1 med. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. half & half
2 tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers

Place onion and oil in casserole dish. Cover and microwave at high 2-3 minutes or until tender. Stir remaining ingredients. Reduce power to 50 percent. Microwave 3 to 6 minutes until heated and smooth. Stir every two minutes. Serve with taco chips.

JALAPENO CHEESE DIP

1 lb. hamburger
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 tbsp. Durkee red hot sauce
6 jalapenos, chopped

Brown hamburger, celery, onion, green pepper, drain grease. Add the liquid from 1 can Rotel tomatoes. Boil to let some liquid evaporate. Then add chopped tomatoes and chili powder. Reduce heat and add cheese. After cheese melts add hot sauce and jalapenos. (You can use combinations of cheese American, Cheddar, Velveeta and Monterey Jack if desired.)
