Recipe(tried): Lettuce wraps

Sandwiches
These lettuce wraps have been a hit with the college kids that my son brings home; winter, summer, boys or girls. The attraction is the versatility!
Lettuce,,washed and patted dry
Boston, Romaine, Iceburg
any or all
Sauteed Beef Strips or Chicken or Pork
any or all
Drained
slivered carrotts cut small
tomatoes sliced thin
almonds slivered
Red onion, sliced thin
Rice prepared hot/warm
Dipping Sauced: Honey Mustard
Sweet & Sour
Picante Sauce

The Kids make their own wrap with the ingredients,
some prefer vegetarian, some prefer no beef, but will eat white meat. Any other vegetable can be added; even cheese..a very healthy alternative to consider. Just wrap like a folded sandwich or fold like a burrito. Enjoy!
