Recipe: Microwave Peanut Brittle

Misc.
This recipe works perfectly. Originally it was for a 600watt oven, so if yours is different watch carefully the first time you try it.
1cup sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
dash salt
1-1 1/2 c. shelled raw peanuts
1 tbl. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Heavily grease a baking sheet. Combine sugar, syrup, and salt in 3qt. casserole. Stir in peanuts. Microwave on high 8-10 minutes until light brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients until mixture foamy. Spread on greased sheet as thin as possible. Cool and break into pieces.
