Recipe: Mountain Dew Salad (2)

Mountain Dew Salad

4 cups hot water
4 pkg. lemon jello
1 (12 oz.) can Mountain Dew
4 bananas, sliced
2 cups small marshmallows
1 cup (No. 2 can) crushed pineapple, drained

Dissolve jello in hot water and add Mountain Dew. Chill
until partially firm.

Stir in bananas, marshmallows and pineapple.

Chill in large 9 x 13-inch pan until firm.

Then add topping:

Mix according to package directions:
1 box Jell-O lemon pudding mix (not instant)
Cool and fold in:
1 small container Cool Whip, thawed
Spread on top of Jell-O and cool.

Mountain Dew Salad

2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
1 1/2 cups Mountain Dew
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 cups hot water
2 cups marshmallows
4 bananas, sliced
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 pkg. lemon pie filling (not instant)

Mix jello, Mountain Dew, pineapple juice and hot water.
Then add marshmallows while warm. Stir in bananas and pineapple. Refrigerate until set.

Prepare pie filling following package directions; cool. Spread over top of set jello. Refrigerate.
