Recipe: Mountain Dew Salad (2)

Mountain Dew Salad

1 can lemon pie filling (about 16 oz.)
1 medium cool whip
1 large pkg. lemon jello
2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 can Mountain Dew
1 can crushed pineapple (Drain and save the juice.)

Mix 1 1/2 cup boiling water in 9x13 pan with the jello until dissolved.

Add 3/4 cup pineapple juice and enough MT. Dew to make 1 1/2 cups. Refrigerate until this starts to set.

Pour the mixture into a bowl. Add the lemon pie filling, cool whip, pineapple and marshmallows. Mix and pour back into the 9x13 pan. Refrigerate.

Mountain Dew Salad

Combine until gelatin is dissolved:
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
2 cups boiling water
Add:
1 cup Mountain Dew
1 cup pineapple juice
Cool.

Add:
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 cups miniature marshmallows
3 bananas
Let set until thickened. Pour into a 9x13-inch dish. Refrigerate until set.

TOPPING
Whip together:
1 cup lemon pie filling (either canned or prepared boxed pudding and pie filling)
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
