Recipe: Music Theme Party - Dear CW: Some ideas for you:

I think the easiest theme for a music related party will be:

DISCO Theme

MOTOWN theme

RAT PACK theme

or, ROARING TWENTIES Theme

In your invitation, besides including information about your guest of honor & his CD, you must mension the fact that you are having a themed party & that everybody should be dressed in the style of the epoch thar you select. Also, you must have an assortment of music of that specific time.

Besides that, there is a site that sells musci themed decorations (click here).

You can order some of those decorations to reinforce the ambiance.

For the Menu, I suggest that you look for one of my MENUS in the Whats for Dinner Message Board. The food should be elegant but easy so that you can enjoy your party with your guest of honor & other guests.

If you have some food preference just let me know & I will select a Menu for you.
