Recipe(tried): Jack's Shrimp very close copy - tips

Main Dishes - Fish, Shellfish
The recipe that is stewed and includes fennel, beer, a ton of garlic, and real butter is the closest I've seen on here to the real thing. Oh! And also chicken stock!

Here's the deal, my husband traded something precious with Jack, and we did NOT get the recipe, but we DID get a few of the secrets. It is stewed. It does include the ingredients I mentioned above as essential.

Some people are curious about the ratio of liquid to shrimp or chicken...Jack had chicken and shrimp. YES! There is a ton of liquid, because it is served over rice or pasta, and you sop a lot of it with the bread. So it is mostly a thin gravy with a little meat.

Cheers! Happy eating this high cholesterol, high fat, awesomely, ooogly deliously freaky meal!!!!
