Recipe(tried): Navy Bean Soup with Snipple Beans
SoupsMy Mother would make snipple beans occasionally. She would prepare a standard pot of Navy Bean soup, and when finished, she'd wash a couple handfuls of beans, and add it to soup, and continue cooking perhaps 20 or 30 minutes which added a sourness, and the beans still retained some crunchiness. This was about the most delicious soup I ever tasted. This was the only way I ever knew how to use them. I'd love to hear some other ways.
