Recipe(tried): Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies

NEIMAN-MARCUS $250 COOKIES

2 cups butter or margarine
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
3 cups oatmeal, ground to fine powder in blender or processor
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
24 ounces chocolate chips
1 (8-ounce) Hershey Bar, grated
3 cups chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. DO NOT grease cookie sheets.

Cream butter with both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.

Add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda to creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, grated candy and nuts.

Roll into balls and place 2-inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes in preheated oven. Cool on a rack. Makes 200 cookies.
