Hi, I tried a recipe called Poppy seed bread dated 10-19-99 by Debby D...AL
I made the bread(very easy) and noticed that the water was missing from the recipe. The batter was very thick but I trusted that it was OK. It browned very fast and sunk in the middle when baked. ( my oven has correct temp)
the instructions read...
Combine first 5 ingredients and beat well. Then add poppy seeds and pecans. The first 5 ingredients included the poppy seed!
Here it is...
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box( 3 3/4 oz) vanilla pudding
1/2 c veg oil
4 eggs
1c pecans
1 T poppyseed
I baked it longer than what was called for. 350 degrees for an hour.
the flavor was very good ( I could salvage some of the bread)
Is the water or any other liquid missing?
