Recipe(tried): Paska Bread

Breads - Assorted
Paska Bread

Mix together:
3 cups scalded milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 Tbs. salt
4 oz. crisco
2 sticks margarine

Add:
2 cups cold water
1 oz. yeast in 1/4 cup warm water
4 eggs
5 lb. flour

Put in greased bowl and let rise 2 hours.
Punch down and let rise l hour.
Make loaves as large as you wish. PUt in round
pans and decorate with crosses or braids or
however you wish.
Let rise at least 1/2 hour in pans.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
