Recipe: Paul Purdomme's Seasoning (re: Cajun Magic for Koo)
Herbs and SpicesI did not find a recipe for onion rings, but did find a recipe for a bake onion stuffed with pork and mushrooms, listed in the side dishes in one of his (Paul Prudhomme) cookbooks. The seasoning recipe is as follows:
Mix together well:
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp.dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp dried sweet basil
1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. each of black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
This is a seasoning for a corn dish:
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. each white pepper, garlic powder, and dried sweet basil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
Hope this helps.
