Recipe: Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars

Misc.

Cheerio Bars

1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 1/2 cups 0-shaped cereal such as Oatio's
Optional: carob or vegan chocolate chips and/or chopped peanuts

Mix together syrup and peanut butter. When mixture is smooth, add cereal, and stir to coat. You
may also wish to embellish the recipe by adding a handful of carob or chocolate chips or chopped
peanuts.

Press mixture into a lightly greased oblong pan, and let it cool. (You may need to refrigerate in order
for it to harden.) When cool, cut into squares, and enjoy.

Serves: about 24 squares

Preparation time: 5-10 min.
