Recipe(tried): Peanutty Fritos Treats

Appetizers and Snacks
My sister-in-law got the recipe for this yummy combo of sweet and salty at a holiday card party. It is quick and easy and I can't stop making more to share!

PEANUTTY FRITOS TREATS

1 (10 oz.) bag of regular Fritos corn chips
1 cup light Karo corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter*

Spray a 13x9-inch pan with Pam cooking spray. Pour the Fritos into the pan; set aside.

In a medium saucepan mix together corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add peanut butter and stir until melted.

Pour over Fritos and let cool until set (will not be a firm as Rice Krispies Treats).

Break apart and enjoy!

*Also good using crunchy peanut butter or adding chopped peanuts.
