Recipe: peasant bread with whole wheat flour

Peasant bread what contains whole wheat flour.

Also, I am using sourdough starter. My husband is a diabetic so I try to use whole grain whole wheat four in the bread. No sugar but Splenda. Does anyone have a sourdough recipe with whole wheat flour also I believe some cornmeal can be substituted. Has anyone tried this.
