Misc.

LISA'S PUMPKIN CRUNCH DESSERT

BASE - 1 box of yellow cake mix dry, (reserve 1 cup)
Add 1/2 cup melted oleo or butter or margarine, 1 egg beaten.
Mix together and press into a greased and floured 9x 13 pan.

FILLING - 1 large can of solid pumpkin (29oz)
3 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of granulated
sugar, 2/3 cup of evaporated milk, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Beat well and spread over the base.

TOPPING - 1 cup of reserved dry cake mix
1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup walnuts, (I chopped ours),
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) oleo or butter or margarine
Combine and sprinkle over the pumpkin filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 mins. Let cool and refrigerate.(Why isn't there a 'degrees' mark on the computer?)
Hope this is what you are looking for! A co-worker at the Post Office named Lisa gave me this recipe. My daughter made it this past Sunday for a Thanksgiving dinner, (first time we tried it and we were asked for the recipe at the dinner!!! :0).. It has a crunchy topping, a kind of pumpkin pie middle, and a cookie/cake (or something!), base to it! We will be making it again for two more dinners this week! Very easy and good! Enjoy! Six
