Recipe: Petite Bread (Petite White Loaf) (bread machine)

Petite White Loaf
Makes one small loaf

1/2 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp butter or oil; optional
3/4 tsp active yeast or bread machine yeast

Measure the ingredients into the container of the bread machine in the order given. Reverse the order in machines which call for adding the liquids last.

Select the Basic or Rapid Bread cycle and Medium setting for the crust. Press Start button or program the machine for Delayed Start if desired, and press Start.
