Recipe(tried): Pickled Franks

Misc.

3 lbs. franks cut into 1-inch pieces
cauliflower, cut up
sliced onion (however much you like)
pimento strips (optional)

Solution:
3 c. water
2 1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Put franks, onion, cauliflower, and pimento in a glass gallon jar. Bring the
"solution" ingredients to a boil in saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour
over the franks and veggies. Let stand in the fridge. The longer it sets the
better it is.

*For best results, let it stand in the fridge for several days. Shake it
occassionally to help it stay mixed.
