Recipe: PINEAPPLE KUCHEN

PINEAPPLE KUCHEN

3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (3 1/4 oz.) pkg. dry vanilla
pudding
3 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 (15 or 20 oz.) can pineapple
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. reserved liquid

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pudding, butter, egg
and milk. Place in greased 10-inch pie plate. Add pineapple,
drained and place over batter. Combine in a bowl softened
cream cheese, sugar and reserved juice. Beat until smooth.
Spoon this mixture within 1-inch of batter. Sprinkle with
mixture of 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
