ISO: Pineapple

Hi,
I just wanted to add that my mother use to make a Kuchen when I was little that had pineapple as the fruit. Would there be any reason why these same recipes could not use pineapple ? I would like to repeat that recipe but have lost the recipe. Thank for your in-put. Gert < MT.
