Recipe: Popovers

Misc.

Hi Shannon;
I think you may be thinking of popovers. Here's a recipe for you.
Popovers
1/2 cup Flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Milk
1 Egg
1 tbsp. melted butter (cooled after melting)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Put a large, lightly buttered muffin tin or lightly buttered ramakins into the oven as it heats.
Sift the dry ingredients together completely. Mix in the remaining ingredients.
With a wire wisk or fork, mix the ingredients together until smooth ... do NOT over mix or make the mixture too frothy; mix it until it is JUST smooth.
Pour batter into the hot muffin tin (or ramakins), between halfway and three-quarters of-the-way deep.
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Serve with butter.
This recipe makes about 10 - 12 popovers.
