I just added 1/2 pint of raspberries to his recipe. I think it would work.
PLUM BARBECUE SAUCE
6 fresh plums, seeds removed
1/2 pint raspberries (added by TomS)
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1/2 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 cinnamon stick
Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer until plums are very soft, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove cinnamon stick and allow to cool.
Pour into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to several
