Recipe(tried): Re: Chicken w/Onions & Pasta

Menus

This is really GREAT! I make it at least 2 or 3 times a month. Just double if necessary.
WHITE PASTA WITH CHICKEN & ONIONS

3 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 large Vidalia onion, coarsely chopped
1 (4-oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Flour
1 tbsp. Seasoned salt
tsp. Seasoned pepper
1 can Chicken broth
1 tsp. Chicken granules
c. water
2 tbsp. Butter
c. Parmesan cheese
3-4 oz. Cooked Angel Hair (or other type) pasta

Mix flour and seasonings together in large zip-top bag. Cut chicken across grain into " strips, toss in seasoned flour till covered. Layer in pan, in single layer; top with onion, then mushrooms. Cover with broth & chicken granules dissolved in water. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 about 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions, drain and keep warm. Remove chicken/onion mixture from baking dish with slotted spoon, & add to pasta. Pour liquid into small saucepan. Mix 3 tbsp. Flour with water, add to liquid and cook till thickened. Add Parmesan, mix well & add to pasta mixture, stir & serve. Will serve 3 starving or 4 hungry.
