Hi, someone that was looking for a recipe using evaporated milk in an old salad dressing recipe, well the one I use is:
Put about 1-2 Tablespoons of vinegar in a bowl, add about 1 tablespoon or more granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and about 3-4 tablespoons evaporated milk; mix. Then add about 1/4 cup mayonnaise; mix thoroughly till very smooth. That's it.
You can adjust ingredients accordingly. My mom used to make this salad dressing when I was growing up and I just remember her not really measuring anything, but I do remember it was always my favorite! I hope that I could help you out with this recipe, hopefully it was the right one!
