Recipe: Salsa Mix in a Jar (Not Lawry's)

Lawry's Salsa Mix does not have a copycat recipe on the Internet yet. Perhaps you could adapt this recipe. Good luck and please share your results with us.
SALSA MIX IN A JAR

FOR THE MIX:
1 1/2 cups dried cilantro
1/2 cup dried chopped onion
1/4 cup crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder (more to taste)

Measure all into ziploc bag, seal and shake to combine.

ATTACH TAG WITH INSTRUCTIONS:

SPICY SALSA:
1 (10 oz) can Mexican-style tomatoes*
2 tablespoons salsa mix

Mix tomatoes and salsa mix together well. Chill 1 hour to let spices mingle. Serve with tortilla chips.

*If desired, tomatoes may be drained or pureed for on desired consistency.

SALSA SPREAD:
1 (8 oz) cream cheese, pkg softened
2 tablespoons salsa mix
1 chopped Tomato

Combine cream chess and salsa mix; mix in tomato, chill 2 hours. Serve with chips, crackers, and/or veggie sticks.
