Recipe(tried): Salmon Fillets with Honey-Mustard Glaze

Menus
Salmon Fillets with Honey-Mustard Glaze, Steamed Asparagus, Baked Sweet Potatoes, and Locally Grown Watermelon.

Hello Everyone:

As I have mentioned before, our everyday meals are quite simple. We save the special meals for our days off or special occasions. Here is Sunday nights dinner menu. The glaze for the salmon gives it a rich-looking, beautiful, shiny glaze. I sometimes marinade my salmon in Italian Dressing for a short time before grilling too.

Salmon Fillets with Honey-Mustard

1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp. Sugar
2 Tbsp. Honey
3 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Salmon Fillets

Blend the condiments together thoroughly with a whisk and set aside. Grill salmon fillets about 5 minutes and brush with glaze. Finish grilling your salmon until it feels firm to the touch and flakes when you take a fork to it.

After placing the salmon on your serving plates, gently brush the fish with the glaze one more time. This last-minute, final application is the key to a rich-looking, beautiful shiny glaze. Serve immediately.

I served the salmon with baked sweet potatoes, steamed asparagus and cubed chunks of watermelon. A big glass of ice tea and you're all set. Doesn't this just sound like summer!
