Recipe: Salmon Stuffed with Crab or Shrimp

Misc.

Stuffed Salmon

This is good with a small fish of 2 to 5 pounds. It is good with any nice trout or salmon.

Make a basic stuffing recipe. In a pinch, you can use the store bought instant variety such as "Stove Top" in the chicken flavor. Prepare as much of the dressing as you will need to stuff the body cavity of the fish to overflowing.

Prior to stuffing the fish, add small shrimp and/or crab meat to the stuffing. Now, stuff the fish to the point where the stuffing is bulging out the opening. Place the fish on foil, and place it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.

A 2 to 3 pound fish will take 30 to 40 minutes to bake. Check for doneness by seeing if the thickest meat flakes when you pull at it with the fork. Serve while still warm.
