Recipe: Sauce for Grilled Franks (hot dogs)
SandwichesWho ever heard of a 4th of July picnic without hot dogs? Here's a nice sauce to spiff them up.
SAUCE FOR GRILLED FRANKS (HOT DOGS)
1 cup water
3/4 cup catsup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of Tabasco sauce
8 to 12 Franks, cooked
In saucepan, combine all ingredients except franks; bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes.
Place cooked Franks in split buns and spoon on the sauce.
