Recipe(tried): Sour Cream Pizza (using sliced bread) - Very fast and easy to make!
Pizza/FocacciaThis is a recipe which I use very often for breakfast;
SOUR CREAM PIZZA
10 slices dry bread
1 egg
1 cup (about 2 ounces) milk
A little over 3/4 cup (100 g) sour cream
1 tablespoon grated hard cheese
Salt, to taste
1/4 lb (100 g) sausage (any kind)
10 oz (300 g) mozzarella cheese, cut in thick slices
Ketchup
Oregano
Ground black pepper
Grease a baking dish with oil and arrange the slices of bread, so to fill any potential gaps.
In a bowl break the egg, then add the milk, sour cream, grated hard cheese and salt.
Mix together, then pour over the bread. Place pieces of sausage on pizza. Top with mozzarella slices. From above sprinkle with ketchup, oregano and pepper.
Leave for half an hour so that the bread will soak in the ingredients.
Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for about 20 minutes.
