Recipe(tried): Spaetzle with Mushroom Gravy

Kit Kat: This comes from my sister in law....very authentic:

SPAETZLE

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1 chicken bouillon cube
6 cups boiling water
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Combine flour, 3/4 cup water, eggs, and salt. Beat until smooth.

Add bouillon to 6 cups boiling water. Using a spatula press 1/2 of the batter through large holed colander into boiling bouillon. Cook until spaetzle float to the top, remove with slotted spoon. Repeat with remaining batter.

MUSHROOM GRAVY

1 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup white wine
2 to 3 tbsp flour
2 cups vegetable or chicken broth

Saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in the wine. When soft add the flour; stir with wire whisk for at least 1 minute. Add the broth, stir until thickened. Serve on spaetzle.
