Recipe: Spiced Iced Tea

SPICED ICED TEA

3 tablespoons tea leaves
2 cups boiling water
3 inches stick cinnamon
1 teaspoon whole cloves
2 cups cold water
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar

Measure tea into pot. Pour in boiling water; add cinnamon and cloves tied in bag. Cover, steep 5 minutes; stir.

Strain tea into pitcher; return spices to tea. At once add cold water; cool to room temperature.

Remove spices; stir in orange juice, and sugar. Chill.

Pour over ice.

Makes 4 1/2 cups tea
