Recipe: Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce (canning recipe)

STRAWBERRY-RHUBARB SAUCE
Makes 3 pints

4 cups strawberries, halved
1 1/2 lb. Rhubarb
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tsp. lemon juice

Puree strawberries and rhubarb. Pour into large pan. Add sugar, water, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and boil one minute.

Pour into hot, sterilized pint jars. Wipe rims and seal. Process 15 minutes in simmering hot-water bath.
