Recipe: Strom Thurmond's Pecan Pie - Here's the recipe Debbie

Here is the recipe Debbie...I have a copy of "Sea Island Seasons" so am copying from this cook book.(By the way...I was born in Easley)

Strom Thurmond's Pecan Pie

3 eggs
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
9 inch pastry shell, uncooked

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually.
Add syrup, butter, salt, vanilla and pecans.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
