Recipe(tried): Sugar Cream Pie

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for or not. I believe I found this recipe here on TKL and it is very, very good!!

Sugar Cream Pie

1 baked 9-inch pie crust

4 TBLS. cornstarch
3/4 cup white sugar
4 TBLS. butter, melted
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 TBLS. butter, melted
pinch cinnamon

Mix cornstarch & sugar. Add the 4 Tbls. melted butter and cream. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and creamy. Add vanilla. Pour into pie crust.

Drizzle the remaining 2 TBLS. melted butter over the top and sprinkle the cinnamon over top, Pur under broiler until butter bubbles. WATCH carefully because it doesn't take long for butter to bubble. Refrigerate and enjoy.
