Recipe: Sugar Cream Pie (2)

Sugar Cream Pie

1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in saucepan sugar and flour and mix well. Add
milk, butter and vanilla. Heat until butter dissolves. Stir
to keep from sticking (medium heat). Pour into unbaked pie
shell and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until firm. Mixture will bubble up and then settle or thicken.

Sugar Cream Pie II

1 1/2 cups sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1/4 stick butter
cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together except butter and cinnamon
and pour into pie shell. Dot with butter and sprinkle with
cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
