Recipe(tried): Sunday: HB Favorite - Chicken Mignon

Got this from mother-in law. This is a HB favorite, is so... moist. I'll give you my usual, then the variation I tried (discovered my sour cream I bought was unusable)

Chicken Mignon:
5 - 8 boneless chicken breasts
8 oz sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup (I use low fat)
1 jar armour dried beef
1/8 c cooking wine (I prefer red)
bacon for each breast

Lay beef in glass baking dish to cover bottom. Wrap bacon around each breast& secure with toothpick. Place breast in dish. Combine other ingredients and spoon over each breast. Bake uncovered at 275 degrees for 3 hours. (Yes, 275 degrees, I had a hard time believing that was right to cook it that low but it turns out perfect) Great to put in the oven for Sunday dinner!

Variation: Instead of Sour Creme, I added used more wine (total 1/4 cup)& we thought this might even be better than the original.

IDEA: I plan to try Cream of Chicken soup instead of mushroom and maybe use white wine.
